Electric Warrior is an interesting album as it appears to have a foot both in the early mystical/pre-electric stuff at the same time as establishing the driving guitar sound that is so evocative of T.Rex when their star was highest in the firmament. When thinking of T.Rex, Electric Warrior is what comes to mind. It’s smooth instrumentation is enough to hook the average listener from start to finish, it doesn’t go much beyond that however. It plays it really safe but has enough charm to keep it fresh time and time again. It was the 6th full length album but only the 2nd under the name T.Rex,the 1st 4 being under Tyrannosaurus Rex.
